An atypical guide book - the type face looks to be hand printing, and rather than photographs there are the author-artist's renditions of the sites to be seen, the maps are also all hand drawn. The author notes the all of the roads in this book were good enough for passenger cars at the time he traveled them, those that weren't are so noted. The purpose of this book was to celebrate the great natural wonders and relics of antiquity still preserved in Arizona for humankind to see.
